A few years ago, when I started playing video games, I used to make a point to look for a “good” game.
One of the most common games I’d find was “World of Warcraft,” but when I looked at the title screen, I realized that my only choice was “Cometh.”
The opening cinematic of “The Great Meteor of 1811” (which I’d also seen a lot of at the time) had me staring at the sky, waiting for the comet to come up.
“Ceph” was a title that immediately drew me in, and I would look forward to playing it in the evenings as I waited for the sun to rise.
It was a game that was very accessible, and one I enjoyed playing as much as I loved writing about it.
